Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when customers may request a refund for products and services purchased from Vaurse Limited ("Vaurse", "we", "us", or "our"). By purchasing or subscribing to a Vaurse product or service, you agree to this Refund Policy together with the applicable Vaurse Terms & Conditions.

1. General refund principle

Vaurse aims to provide high-quality products and services and to resolve customer concerns fairly. Refund eligibility depends on the type of product or service purchased, the reason for the request, and whether the product or service has already been delivered, activated, customized, manufactured, or consumed. Not every purchase is refundable. Where a refund is approved, Vaurse will generally return the eligible amount to the original payment method used for the transaction.

2. Digital vaurse services

Digital services may include: Vaurse accounts; Digital Voscard; Professional profiles; Vaurse subscriptions; Business accounts; School accounts; Event-management services; Campaigns; Directory services; Other digital features. 2.1 Free Digital Voscard The Vaurse Digital Voscard is provided free of charge. Because there is no purchase price associated with a free Digital Voscard, it is not eligible for a monetary refund. Users may deactivate or delete their Digital Voscard subject to the Vaurse Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

3. Vaurse Subscriptions

Where Vaurse offers paid subscription plans, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where: Required by applicable law; Vaurse has charged you incorrectly; Vaurse approves a refund at its discretion; The service was materially unavailable due to an issue caused by Vaurse and a refund is considered appropriate. 3.1 Cancellation Customers may cancel their subscription at any time. Unless otherwise stated: Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically create a refund for the current billing period. Customers will generally continue to have access to the paid service until the end of the applicable billing period.

4. Free Trial and promotional periods

Where Vaurse provides a free trial or promotional period: No refund is available for the free portion of the service; If the trial converts into a paid subscription, the applicable subscription terms will apply; Promotional pricing may be subject to specific terms; Promotional purchases may have different refund conditions where clearly disclosed at the time of purchase.

5. Physical voscard refunds

Physical Voscard products include, but are not limited to: Plastic Voscard; Metal Voscard; Customized Voscard; Employee Voscard; Student Voscard; Membership cards; Event cards; Other physical identity cards. Because physical Voscard products may be produced specifically for a customer, customized or personalized cards are generally non-refundable once production has started, except where the card is defective or Vaurse is responsible for an error.

6. Wrong or defective voscard

Vaurse will replace a physical Voscard at no additional charge where the card: Arrives damaged; Is defective; Cannot reasonably perform its advertised functionality due to a manufacturing defect; Was produced incorrectly due to an error by Vaurse; Contains incorrect information that was entered correctly by the customer but incorrectly produced by Vaurse. Customers should report the issue within 7 days of receiving the card. Vaurse may request: Photographs of the card; Order information; Video evidence where appropriate; Other information reasonably necessary to investigate the issue. Where the issue is confirmed to be a Vaurse error or manufacturing defect, Vaurse may provide a replacement or refund at its discretion.

7. Customer - provided information

Vaurse is not responsible for errors resulting from information incorrectly provided or approved by the customer. Examples include: Incorrect name; Incorrect job title; Incorrect phone number; Incorrect email; Incorrect photograph; Incorrect company; Incorrect card design; Incorrect delivery address. Where a customer provides incorrect information and requests a replacement card, the customer may be responsible for the replacement and delivery costs.

8. Change of mind

Because Voscard products may be personalized, manufactured specifically for the customer, or linked to a customer's digital identity, change-of-mind refunds may not be available once production or personalization has begun. Where production has not started, Vaurse may consider cancellation requests on a case-by-case basis.

9.Presale and promotional voscard purchases

Vaurse may periodically offer promotional or presale pricing. Examples may include: Launch promotions; Limited-time discounts; Early-bird pricing; Limited-edition Voscard; Referral discounts; Campaign-specific offers. Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, promotional and presale orders are subject to the same refund rules applicable to the underlying product. Where an order has not yet entered production, Vaurse may allow cancellation and refund at its discretion. Once a personalized or limited-edition product has entered production, the order may become non-refundable except where required by law or where the product is defective.

10. Limited voscard edition

Limited-edition Voscard products may be produced in limited quantities. Because availability may be restricted, purchases of limited-edition cards may be non-refundable after production or fulfillment has commenced, except where: The product is defective; Vaurse cannot fulfill the order; Vaurse shipped the wrong product; Applicable law requires otherwise.

11. Delivery problems

If a Voscard does not arrive within the expected delivery period, customers should contact Vaurse. Vaurse may investigate the shipment and, where appropriate: Replace the card; Reship the order; Refund the order; Provide another reasonable solution. If the customer supplied an incorrect delivery address, additional delivery or replacement charges may apply.

12. Lost or stolen cards

Vaurse is generally not responsible for cards lost or stolen after successful delivery. Customers may request a replacement card. Replacement charges may apply. Where the physical Voscard is connected to access control or identity services, customers should immediately deactivate or suspend the affected card through the Vaurse platform where such functionality is available.

13. Hardware and devices

Vaurse may provide or sell optional hardware, including: Smart Attendance Terminals; Face Recognition Access Control Devices; Smart CCTV Monitoring Systems; NFC or card-reading devices; Other Vaurse-compatible hardware. Hardware refund eligibility depends on the specific product and purchase agreement. Unless otherwise stated: Defective Hardware Customers should report defective hardware within 7 days of delivery. Vaurse may repair, replace or refund defective hardware where the issue is confirmed to be covered by the applicable warranty. Installation Installation fees, configuration fees and professional services may be non-refundable once the service has been performed.

14. Event services

Where Vaurse provides paid event services, including: Event registration; Event management; Event credentials; Event check-in; Event technology; Event campaigns; Event-related services; refunds will depend on the terms agreed with the event organizer or customer. Where an event is cancelled by the organizer, the applicable refund terms will be communicated to attendees or customers. Vaurse is not automatically responsible for refunding event fees collected by an independent event organizer.

15. Third - party services

Vaurse may integrate with third-party services, payment providers, event platforms, communication providers or other external services. Where a payment is made directly to a third party, that third party's refund policy may apply. Vaurse is not responsible for refunds relating to third-party services unless Vaurse directly collected the payment and is responsible for the underlying transaction.

16. Fraudulent and unauthorized transactions

If you believe that a payment was made without your authorization, contact Vaurse immediately. Vaurse may investigate the transaction and may request information necessary to verify the claim. Where appropriate, Vaurse may suspend the relevant account, card or service while the investigation is conducted.

18. Refund review

Vaurse may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis. We may request additional information to determine: Whether the transaction occurred; Whether the product was delivered; Whether production has started; Whether the product is defective; Whether the customer qualifies under this Refund Policy; Whether the request is fraudulent or abusive. Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval.

19. Approved refunds

If a refund is approved: Refunds will generally be made to the original payment method; Processing times may depend on the payment provider or financial institution; Vaurse is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card networks or payment providers; Certain transaction or processing fees may be non-refundable where permitted by law.

20. Partial refunds

Vaurse may provide a partial refund where: Only part of an order is eligible; Part of a service was not delivered; A service interruption materially affected the customer's use; A pricing or billing error occurred; Another circumstance reasonably justifies a partial refund.

21. Duplicate payments

If you are accidentally charged more than once for the same transaction, notify Vaurse. After verification, Vaurse will refund the confirmed duplicate charge.

22. Billing errors

If you believe Vaurse has charged you incorrectly, contact us as soon as reasonably possible. Where an error is confirmed, Vaurse will correct the billing error and refund any amount that was incorrectly charged.

23. Non-refundable items and services

Unless required by applicable law, the following may generally be non-refundable: Used digital services; Subscription periods that have already commenced; Personalized Voscard products after production begins; Customized products; Installation services already performed; Configuration services already performed; Professional services already delivered; Promotional products where the promotional terms state they are non-refundable; Replacement cards requested because of customer-provided errors; Lost or stolen physical cards; Third-party services purchased independently.

24. Abuse of refund policy

Vaurse reserves the right to refuse refund requests where there is evidence of: Fraud; Abuse; Repeated unreasonable refund requests; Intentional misuse of the Services; Chargeback abuse; Unauthorized resale; Manipulation of promotional offers. Vaurse may also suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraudulent activity in accordance with its Terms & Conditions.

25. Chargebacks

Customers should contact Vaurse before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback where the issue can reasonably be resolved directly. Nothing in this section prevents a customer from exercising rights provided by applicable law or their payment provider. Where a chargeback is initiated fraudulently or in violation of an agreed transaction, Vaurse reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action.

26. Service outages

Temporary interruption of the Vaurse Services does not automatically entitle a customer to a refund. Where a material outage occurs due to circumstances within Vaurse's reasonable control, Vaurse may, at its discretion, provide: Service credits; Extension of subscription periods; Partial refunds; Other appropriate remedies. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

27. Force majeure

Vaurse will not be responsible for failure to provide Services caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including: Natural disasters; Government actions; Internet infrastructure failures; Telecommunications failures; Power failures; Cyberattacks; War; Civil unrest; Pandemics; Third-party infrastructure failures. Where appropriate, Vaurse will make reasonable efforts to restore the affected service.

28. Changes to refund policy

Vaurse may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect: Changes in products; Changes in services; Changes in payment methods; Changes in applicable law; Changes in business practices. The latest version will be made available through the Vaurse website or application.

29. Consumer rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to remove or restrict any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you under applicable law. Where applicable law provides a customer with rights that are more favorable than this policy, those legal rights will prevail.

30. Governing law

This Refund Policy shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Any dispute relating to this Refund Policy shall be handled in accordance with the dispute-resolution provisions contained in the Vaurse Terms & Conditions.
